How to apply a license to your work
- Consider the following before licensing
*Once done license may not be revoked
*Do you have the ownership of the content?
*If it is a remix, do you have obligations from the original content?
- Choose your license type
- Specify what it is you are licensing
- Clearly communicate your license type across your work
- If you want attribution, specify how you want it
- Link the license type you apply like in the below example
